As Porsche are revealing the new 911 Turbo S in March in Geneva motor show this year. And I think it will be a great idea if people tell their driving experiences in older versions of Porsche 911. You could write about what you think needs improving in the new Porsche? What were your dislikes on old Porsches? Any new addition you prefer to see in the new Porsche 911 Turbo?

Before all you gather your thoughts let me tell you something about the new Porsche. Apparently it is faster than the Ferrari 458 Italia which does 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds. It is led to believe that the new 911 Turbo S is 0.1 second faster than the Ferrari as it does 0.62mph in 3.3 seconds.

This car is for people who enjoy more power as it has greater performance, power and driving dynamics. And the driving experience in this car would be far more exciting than previous Porsches. Obviously when the dynamics of the cars changes for power and performance so does the price of the car. This car is worth a whooping approximate value of £100,000. So why don’t you write on what you think can be brought in this new Porsche from the old Porsches.

To be honest I am not a big fan of having fast cars in the UK. I don’t see any roads where we can head to and enjoy the top speed of this beauty and besides I work in London City where bikes are faster than the cars. I rather buy a cheaper car but with the same money invest in a house or something else. Many car lovers might disagree with me in this remark but it is just my opinion.

Previously I did a similar post for one of my client whose business is in flying industry asking people on their flying experiences. We received fantastic responses from people interested in flying. They sent over their ideas on how my clients can improve their business, which countries should they target to provide amazing flying experiences. Most queried about how they can learn to fly without being scared of knowing they are few thousand feets above the ground.

Porsche recently announced, that they will be revealing the new 911 Turbo S in March 2010 in Geneva motor exhibition. You will be well shocked if I tell how fast the car is. It is faster than 458 Italia (Ferrari). If you do not know how fast Ferrari 458 is then let me tell you it does 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds where as the new 911 is exactly 0.1 faster than the Ferrari with 0-62 mph in 3.3 secs. Big news in UK these days is that Birmingham Florists are first in line to buy the new 911 to improve the delivery service. I am joking.

Though it would be quite cool to see them deliver birthday flowers, wedding flowers, spring flowers, get well soon flowers, anniversary flowers or funeral flowers in the turbo, speeding down the road for faster delivery service. Their slogan of delivery within 24 hours in Birmingham will dramatically change to delivery within few seconds in Birmingham.

Another idea could be giving away a free 911 Turbo S to a florist and then use his life as a reality tv to show how a Porsche changed his life and his business. Or may be not.

Back to the car now, unfortunately there is one bad side to this car which is the price. Because it is the fastest Porsche ever made the price has gone up slightly by erm 50% from a normal GT-R which costs around £58,000. In this defence Porsche said that this car is for people who enjoy greater power, performance and driving dynamics, which means to get all that you have to spend just about 50,000 more than a normal Porsche. I thought the alloys and interiors were made of diamonds. I am just kidding again. I am looking forward to this drive to be honest I have already started saving up for this car even though it might take me next ten years to buy one at this price.

I have uploaded the video of 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo in this post as when the new Porsche is revealed in March you will be able to see the different between the two.

Scooters are motorcycles that have a mini-platform or footrest and has a step-through design. Originally, scooters were intended for personal transportation with low power - engines between 50 to 250 cc to be exact. To date, there are some remaining scooters with this kind of engine. There are, however, those that are built at a faster speed, which are called maxi scooters. As scooters improve in terms of features and speed, it also continues to become more popular. There are a lot of reasons behind the sudden increase in demand of scooters. For starters, a scooter is preferred by motorists because it is lighter and requires less gas consumption compared to big vehicles like cars. Moreover, you get to enjoy the nature and fresh air while driving towards your destination and parking or storage of the vehicle would not be that much of a burden. Most importantly, scooters are very much cheaper compared to buying cars and other kinds of vehicles.

However, the enjoyment of using a scooter is not limited to just the aforementioned reasons. Do not forget that a scooter is still a kind of vehicle. This means that you are free to customize your scooter, just like how other people customize their vehicles. Other than adding designs like vinyls, stickers, rims, fashionable side mirrors and getting a paint job, you may also opt to add extra accessories to your scooter. Accessories that offer bike storage will help you be able to carry addition items with you when traveling on your scooter.

The usual thing that is added to scooters is a scooter basket. From the name itself, a scooter basket is a basket-like accessory which is normally placed in front of the scooter. The key idea to installing scooter baskets is to act as the scooter’s “trunk” where objects may be kept. A downside of driving scooters is that there is very limited storage space for your stuff. This is where scooter baskets come handy. Now, you can easily place any item in the basket for it serves as the trunk of the scooter. But we are not talking about a little girl’s wicker bike basket, moped baskets are more substantial.

What are the benefits that one can gain out of scooter baskets? There are several uses for scooter baskets. To start with, it helps you keep your items organized even while you are driving your scooter. Furthermore, it ensures that the items that you bring are in their best condition. Driving a scooter is very different from driving a typical car, since you deal with the open air and natural environment. This is why your items can get exposed to natural elements. But with a scooter basket, you can conceal your items and make sure that they are kept safe and untouched. Of course, if you want to bring more than one material object with you during your drives, this scooter basket will come in handy.

There are multiple kinds of scooter baskets to choose from. One of the most popular types is the wire scooter basket. As the name already suggests, this basket is produced using wires, which is also the basket normally used for bicycles. It is very simple but is not suggested if the driver brings a lot of small items.

You might want a saddle scooter bag if you are the type of person who likes to bring small objects. Saddle scooter bags are designed with just one pocket, giving you just the right space for the things that you would like to store. On the other hand, some items may not fit there, especially if it is big. For larger items, the wire basket is more preferred. {Wire scooter baskets are more recommended for big objects.}

If you are looking for a way to carry around your items during scooter driving without spending too much, a scooter basket is the best solution. Furthermore, these baskets are not just limited to scooters. It can also be used for power chairs and wheelchairs. Scooter baskets are practical and scooter drivers will surely appreciate its functionality.

At the moment in the United Kingdom, you will find your licence endorsed with three penalty points if you are found to be talking on a mobile phone without a hands free kit while driving.

At the moment in the United Kingdom, you will find your licence endorsed with three penalty points if you are found to be talking on a mobile phone without a hands free kit while driving. The government is now considering raising this to four penalty points. This would mean three strikes and you lose your driving licence because the maximum amount allowed is twelve penalty points. The use of handheld mobile phones when driving has been banned since 2006 and those found guilty of this could not only receive penalty points but could face heavy fines too.

Despite the attempts by the UK government to crack down on handheld mobile phone use there has actually been a rise in the number of drivers involved in this activity recently. The crackdown did seem to be working in the beginning but recently people have begun to revert back to using their handhelds while driving. This is worrying because there is research which now suggests that talking on a mobile phone can make people four times more likely to crash. It isn’t just phone calls that are the problem there has also been a rise in the number of people tweeting on their mobile phone while driving; or even trying to write emails.

This practice is very dangerous and must be tackled sooner rather than later. Many years ago many people drove their cars after drinking but with the dangers associated with that activity there are not many people who would do this now. There needs to be a comparable shift in the way people view mobile phone use when driving. Especially as it can be just as lethal. It is highly likely that the government will implement these plans to increase penalty points if they feel that it will have a successful outcome. Hands-free sets are now easily available and are not prohibitively expensive.

It doesn’t matter what driving license you hold, if you are looking for a job that entails driving your future employers may want to check you have a license . Licence checks is something that should be taken seriously. Never try to apply for a driving job without the appropiate license because you will be found out.

Although it is not the cheapest option when looking to get your hands on a car, car leasing does have some benefits that make it a good option. Below are some of the benefits that car leasing can provide you with.

- The main advantage of car leasing is that you will almost certainly be driving a fairly new car all the time. You can have a leasing contract for as little as a year at a time and this means that each year you can be driving a new leased car. However the usual car lease term is three years but this still means that the car you will be driving will always be quite new. If you wanted to avail of this advantage but by buying cars instead, it would be far too expensive.

- Maintenance costs is also something that will not have to be covered by you as this is normally the responsibility of the car lease company. Because you do not actually own the car you do not have to worry about things like this and other problems that owning a car might cause.

- Car leasing usually enables you to drive a car that you would not have been able to afford to purchase. This is one of the main selling point of car lease contracts. Car leasing enables those who cannot afford to buy expensive cars to still drive them.

- You won’t have to watch your own car depreciate in front of your eyes. Any car you buy will begin losing value from the day you buy it. This can be especially hard to bear if you have taken out a car loan, as you may find that your car is worth almost nothing by the time you have paid off the loan. You never own a leased car, but is owning an old car such a good thing?

- Car leasing allows you to drive around in a brand new car for a cheaper price.

If you really need to have a look at the different car leasing, taking a look at various models prior to deciding on which one you require is often the best way forward. At the end of the day, you may end up with nissan car leasing or even seat car leasing options.

Making a decision to buy a car is only half the battle; once your children start to have driving lessons then you need to think about whether to buy a new or used car. Some people may feel that the cost of a new car is rather prohibitive and not in the budget they had planned for the auto purchase. When using a driving school you are abe to use there car whihcare normally new however a used can be just a benefical for a new driver. A used car offers a buyer the option to get a good deal on a great car that may only be a couple of years old. There are some things that you should keep in mind when you are buying a used car.

At any particular time there will be many used cars on the market that have depreciated considerably in their value. These cars are just as good as they were in the past; the only difference being people are just not buying at the moment. This makes it a great time to pick up a deal on a used car that you would not have found just a few years ago. Just because these motors are at great prices doesnt mean you should be lax in checking it out thoroughly before the purchase.

If you are not mechanically inclined, take along somebody who is so that they can give it the once over. There are many things to check and a look in the bonnet and a quick test drive will not answer all the questions. That is why a knowledgeable person or even a mechanic will be able to fill you in on the condition of the car. They may also recognize sounds that the car is making when you take it on a test drive that you may not be aware of.

Ensure that your test drive is not a short, quick one. Try and spend as much time as you possibly can in the car during your test drive. After all, a short test drive will not let you appreciate comfort, etc. Also, youll not be able to determine how the car handles on longer drives.

Are you after intensive driving courses or free driving test?

When you buy used cars there will always be the risk that you are going to be inheriting big problems. It is impossible to be completely sure that a car has been well looked after or has never been involved in an accident. Here are some things you should check when buying used cars.

- Be sure to check over all aspects of any paperwork relating to the vehicle. The registration certificate V5C will provide details of all previous owners and information about the engine and chassis number as well as other information about the car. Make sure that all the documentation looks authentic. All V5Cs should have a watermark and should be stamped.

- Make sure that you know the seller of the used cars by checking their identity.

- Check the engine for oil leaks and see if the oil is clean.

- You should really make sure that you have a look at the drive belts in the engine and any other hoses to check if they are worn at all.

- The coolant in the radiator will also have to be checked.

- Check the body of the car for any dents or rust.

- Make sure that you check the condition of all the tyres, even the spare tyre to see if any of them are worn. All tyres by law should have a thread depth of 1.66mm so you should check for this too.

- Check all lights and the dashboard instruments to see that everything is working. Pay extra attention to the odometer and make sure there is no evidence of attempts to interfere with this.

- Windows should be checked to make sure they work properly.

- Check to exhaust for rust or holes.

- You could also put your mind at rest by asking for the opinion of an independent mechanic.

No matter what checks you do, there is no way you can avoid all the risks that you could potentially face, but by following the above checks you can definitely limit the risks.

Before you buy your wheel chair accessible vehicle Its always a good idea to carry out some research to find out what is available and what features are best for your needs. When you start to look at vehicles it’s useful to have compiled a list of ‘must have’ features and attributes that you can use to ensure that you are only looking at suitable vehicles.

But where do you go to view some suitably adapted wheelchair accessible vehicles? Here are a few suggestions that will help you to find the best vehicle for your needs:

If you know other people who use wheelchairs, living in your area, its worth asking them about where they obtained their vans or cars. They may provide some recommendations or they may even tell you of garages to be avoided. They may also be able to tell you how to make the most of your Motability allowance.

Talk to your medical advisor, if you have one. They are likely to know of others in your situation and may have some recommendations regarding local suppliers or garages who specialize in adapting vehicles for wheelchair access.

Don’t overlook your local telephone directory as this is likely to list local wheelchair adapted vehicle suppliers.

Another option is to simply contact local vehicle dealerships and ask them if they offer wheelchair adaptations and, if so, where these are carried out and exactly what options are available.

And don’t forget the internet. This is probably the best facility you have for locating wheelchair adapted vehicle suppliers in your area. Carry out a search for ‘wheelchair adapted vehicles’. ‘wheelchair adapted vans’, or ‘wheelchair accessible vehicles’. You’re bound to locate a few businesses who will help you to find the vehicle you need.

When you have found a supplier of wheelchair adapted vehicles its worth paying special attention to their service packages. It will be important that your vehicle is routinely serviced and maintained so it is always worthwhile taking full advantage of any discounted service packages that may be on offer.

There are a huge number of potholes on the roads in the United Kingdom and it has been increasing this year. A lot of this can be put down to recent bad weather. This could be bad news for used car owners though, because potholes can cause a lot of problems for your suspension. New cars can take a bit of a battering, but who knows what sort of punishment your second-hand motor received before you ended up with it. If you are unlucky you could only be a few potholes away from problems.

You might have heard that ice on the roads is one of the leading causes of potholes. There are many cracks in tarmac surfaces and these don’t cause a problem on their own. Water can get inside these holes though, and when the temperature plummets the water freezes and expands thus creating larger holes. When you have a bad winter you get lots of holes appearing on roads. Even though cars are made to sustain a certain level of abuse, they can only withstand it for so long. And there might not be much abuse that a use car can take before problems occur.

As well as damaging the suspension another concern is the effect potholes can have on tyres. If you are unlucky enough to hit a pothole you should ensure that you check your car for any damage as soon as you can. It is common knowledge that worn tyres should be changed immediately. It is essential that all used cars be fitted with quality tyres.

Make sure that you are extra watchful of the increasing number of potholes on the roads. All drivers should also be careful of other people when driving in an area with potholes. It can be quite common for the car in front of you to suddenly brake if it encounters a pothole and sometimes cyclists will swerve to avoid a pothole. You should be prepared to brake in case the car if front does and you should leave a safe gap between your car and theirs.

If the time has come for you to be searching out used cars for sale, it’s always best to carry out a proper research ahead of time. Researching allows you to find the very best used cars for the category you are looking for. When your research is done, you could very well end up with a great used lexus or even a used maseratti.

There are many younger people out there now that do not seem interested at all in driving, there are reasons behind this of course.

Drink

Drink does seem to be a big reason why these people are not intersted in driving and not in bad way. Drinking is a great thing if you do not do it all of the time and the fact is that it is much better to be walking home than driving when you are drunk? It does seem that if you are out to get drunk that driving is not something you will care about. It is against the law to drive home drunk, without the car there is no risk of this happening? It is actually the sensible thing to do.

Money

A car along with the driving lessons will cost a lot of money, there is no doubt about that one, so it makes sense that people do not want to do it. On top of this there is the insurance and tax to pay and when you add it all up it just gets stupid and most teenagers would rather spend the money elsewhere.

Easier To Walk

People should not be moaning about this because many teenagers are now walking and cycling to the places that they want to go, it is a good thing. Many people think that walking is a bit boring but it turns out that IPods have helped this a lot.

The Alternative

There is of course another option and it comes in the form of cheap car leasing. This is often much cheaper than going to a manufacturers and even cheaper than getting a second hand car. You can even get bad credit car leasing and van leasing if you really wanted too.

The best thing to do is to just weigh out all of the options that you have. It doesn’t matter if you want to leave it a few years.
