A common reason why people choose used cars is that they are looking for a good deal. Not only can you save quite a bit of money by choosing a second hand car but you can also manage to pick up the car of your dreams. Those who are savvy when it comes to getting value for money with used cars might be interested to hear that we might soon be fuelling our cars with whisky – something that might just bring the cost of fuel down.
This new fuel made of whisky is being investigated by the University of Edinburgh. But don’t start thinking that we are going to have to give up our top shelf whisky to power our cars because it will only be the fluid that remains once the distilling process has been finished. At the moment this fluid just gets thrown away but if we could put it to use fuelling our cars it would be fantastic. So there will be no need to pop to the bar every time you want to fill up your tank, but instead you will have a fuel made from left over whisky. So not only will this help in our fight to reduce our dependency on oil products, it should also reduce the amount that fuel costs us.
Before we get too excited though, there will probably never be a day when all of us will be topping our used cars up with whisky slops. We don’t produce nearly enough whisky in the world to fuel all the cars there are. But if even some of us can start using this to fuel our cars, it will reduce the amount of oil that is needed and this should reduce the price of oil too. We will have a cheaper way to fill up the tank of those used cars that we bought at such a reasonable price.
If the time has come for you to be searching out used cars, it’s always best to carry out a proper research ahead of time. Good research lets you find only the best models available. When your research is done, you could very well end up with a great used toyota or even a used tvr.
