Should New Drivers Purchase New Cars

Getting out on the road as soon as you can will be the first thing you will want to do after you have passed your driving test. However it makes sense for a newly qualified driver to buy a used car initially. This is because they are more likely to have accidents; especially the small bumps and scrapes that can make a car look old quickly. Getting a scratch on a used car will be upsetting but if your car is brand new it will be much harder to take. This is why some people advise new drivers to only purchase used cars; that way they won’t be too upset when accidents happen. There may be some truth in this, but there are also good reasons why a new car might be the better choice.

- It would be a bit wasteful to go with a used car for a few years and then changing it for a brand new year. The chances are that you are not going to be offered anything like what you paid for the used car initially.

- No one really knows what they are getting when they buy a used car and this is especially true when you buy a used car privately from someone you don’t know. Who knows, you could end up driving around a heap of junk as your first car. Warning signs of dodgy cars will be harder to pick up on when you don’t have much experience.

- It is par for the course that your car is going to pick up a few scratches; even an experienced driver will have the odd mistake. Also no matter how experienced you are there is nothing to stop other people from causing minor damage to your vehicle.

- You will get so much more pleasure from a new car so why wait and deny yourself such an enjoyable experience.

Advances in technology nowadays continue to astound. And the automobile industry bears testament to this statement. Take all things to do with the electric cars. With far reaching advances in electric vehicles for example like compact crossover to name but a few.
