There are many younger people out there now that do not seem interested at all in driving, there are reasons behind this of course.
Drink
Drink does seem to be a big reason why these people are not intersted in driving and not in bad way. Drinking is a great thing if you do not do it all of the time and the fact is that it is much better to be walking home than driving when you are drunk? It does seem that if you are out to get drunk that driving is not something you will care about. It is against the law to drive home drunk, without the car there is no risk of this happening? It is actually the sensible thing to do.
Money
A car along with the driving lessons will cost a lot of money, there is no doubt about that one, so it makes sense that people do not want to do it. On top of this there is the insurance and tax to pay and when you add it all up it just gets stupid and most teenagers would rather spend the money elsewhere.
Easier To Walk
People should not be moaning about this because many teenagers are now walking and cycling to the places that they want to go, it is a good thing. Many people think that walking is a bit boring but it turns out that IPods have helped this a lot.
The Alternative
There is of course another option and it comes in the form of cheap car leasing. This is often much cheaper than going to a manufacturers and even cheaper than getting a second hand car. You can even get bad credit car leasing and van leasing if you really wanted too.
The best thing to do is to just weigh out all of the options that you have. It doesn’t matter if you want to leave it a few years.
